Rhode Island Republican Assembly | January Meeting
Rhode Island’s largest and most active conservative organization (and sponsor of this blog), the RHODE ISLAND REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY, will hold its next monthly meeting on Thursday, January 8th, 2009.
We will be holding the meeting at the Tri-City Elk’s Lodge No. 14, at 1915 West Shore Road, in Warwick. Until or unless otherwise announced, we will be holding the remainder of our 2009 meetings there on the second Thursday of each month, so please make a note of it.
For those wishing to eat, there will be a Pasta Buffet Dinner just before the meeting. You can stop in for dinner anytime between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. The cost for dinner is $7.00 per person. It is “all you can eat” and generally includes pasta, eggplant parmigiana, soup, salad, and dessert. There is also a Cash Bar available. The actual RIRA meeting will start promptly at 7:00pm.
As a reminder, payment of RIRA membership dues is on a calendar-year basis. Therefore, bringing your dues check to the January RIRA meeting will save us the trouble and expense of invoicing you. Standard dues are $25 for individuals and $15 for each additional member in the household. You can also pay your dues online by credit card through the RIRA website.
The RIRA is the Rhode Island affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies, a thoughtful national organization of GOP conservatives working to grow and strengthen the Republican Party in the tradition of President Ronald Reagan. This is a dinner meeting, and if you want to eat, you pay for your own meal. Any like-minded conservative Republican is welcome to attend.
