Site Maintenance Today (Happy 100th B-Day Joe McCarthy!)

    We’ll be doing some site maintenance today and probably tomorrow, so please pardon us if anything here temporarily appears out of place, disappears, or doesn’t work properly (or at all).

    Because we’re all about spreading happiness here… let’s remember to wish a very Happy 100th Birthday today to one of the biggest anti-communists ever, US Senator Joseph R. McCarthy! There might have not been quite enough Commies infiltrating every level of our federal government back in the 1950s, but a lot can change over time. We sure could use him right about now! Help!

    Do you think that Willard Scott will mention his 100th birthday on The Today Show later this morning? Probably not.
