RI Right to Life Enthusiastically Endorses McCain-Palin Ticket

Providence, RI - The Rhode Island Right to Life (RIRTL) Political Action Committee (PAC) enthusiastically announces its endorsement of the McCain / Palin presidential ticket.

Barth E. Bracy, newly appointed Executive Director of RIRTL, said, “While John McCain’s Congressional voting record over the past 25 years already establishes him as the pro-life choice for President in 2008, his recent choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate puts an exclamation point to his repeated affirmation that he will be a pro-life President.”

“What is most compelling about this ticket is that the actions of both John McCain and Sarah Palin prove that they walk their pro-life talk,” said PAC Chairperson Lisa Torrado, recalling the McCains’ 1991 adoption of their daughter Bridget from Bangladesh as well as the Palins’ unwillingness to even consider aborting their now five-month-old baby boy, Trig, who was diagnosed in utero with Down syndrome.

RIRTL Chairperson Diane Manning added further, “With the Republican Party’s recent affirmation of its unwavering pro-life platform, the pro-life choice for President has never been clearer.”

Rhode Island Right to Life calls upon all Rhode Islanders and all Americans to affirm the dignity of all human life by voting for McCain / Palin on November 4. Further information regarding the stark contrast between pro-life McCain / Palin ticket and the radically pro-abortion Obama / Biden ticket can be found on the Rhode Island Right to Life website at http://www.rirtl.org/elections2008.
