The Ocean State Republican

I talked with U.S. Congressional candidate Jon Scott by phone earlier tonight, who is over in Minnesota as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention.

The Rhode Island Republican delegation is really enjoying themselves … and they have way better seats than the R.I. Democrats did at their convention last week (I actually saw House Republican Leader Bob Watson on television tonight, as the cameras panned the crowd on the floor)! Obviously, due to the recent hurricane, the convention got off to a slow, if not unconventional start, but things really picked up today.

Anyway, Jon just wanted me to pass along that he will be a guest on ‘The Buddy Cianci Show’ during the 12 o’clock hour on Wednesday afternoon, so make sure to tune into 630 WPRO tomorrow. It’s also my understanding that Gov. Caricieri will be on Buddy’s show on Wednesday, as well.
