R.I.P. To Our Good Friend, Russell Morgan Jones
We were all deeply saddened to learn today about the passing of our dear friend, Russell Morgan Jones, after a brief illness. Russell served with tremendous dedication as the Chaplain of the Rhode Island Republican Assembly, since its inception in 2001. He had been actively involved in Rhode Island Republican politics for as long as anyone can remember. Besides being a stalwart RIRA and RIGOP member — and generous contributor to local Republican candidates — he was a very enthusiastic supporter of Mitt Romney for President.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1240 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett. Indeed, what is truly sad is that his daughter Julie Truver failed to add to his obituary Russell’s son Steven Jones as well as failing to notify him of his father’s illness and passing. So very sad…
